MÜDEK Information
The Department of Computer Engineering at Gaziantep University began admitting undergraduate students in the 2024–2025 academic year. MÜDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs) accreditation is a significant process that ensures the quality assurance of engineering programs at both national and international levels.
To apply for MÜDEK accreditation, the relevant undergraduate program must have graduated at least one cohort of students. In this context, since our department has not yet produced any graduates, it currently does not hold MÜDEK accreditation.
However, the department’s curriculum and educational outcomes have been prepared in accordance with MÜDEK criteria. Our educational activities are conducted in line with the principles of quality assurance and continuous improvement, serving as preparation for the MÜDEK process. Once we graduate our first cohort of students, an application for MÜDEK accreditation will be submitted.
